Escape with a book…or two

Reading is a great way to improve our memory, inspire us and leave us feeling positive. There are plenty of scientific studies that show the health benefits of reading which include reducing stress and the chances of developing Alzheimer’s later in life!

I love reading ebooks and listening to audiobooks, on my Kindle Fire. I find audiobooks are a great way to catch up on your favourite stories whilst working through some errands, going for a walk, or doing some gardening – yes, these are just some of the things I do whilst listening to an audiobook!

That being said, if you need some inspiration for your next book then I’ve been reading plenty over the past year and have compiled them into this handy list. Perfect timing as there’s nothing better than cuddling up with a book and some hot cocoa during the festive season!
